Engineered height safety & fall protection equipment
BTS supplies and engineers fall protection equipment for working at height and in confined spaces, including anchor points, horizontal and vertical lifeline systems, safety harnesses, controlled descent devices, self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), guardrails, and the PRO-Series davit range. All systems are designed to meet AS/NZS standards, EN795 and ANSI Z359 compliance standards, and BTS provides on-site consultation to match equipment to each work environment.
Engineered & Mobile Height Safety Systems
For sites without permanent infrastructure, BTS designs custom and mobile fall protection systems — including the BTS AirDavit, AirHook trailer and cube systems, mobile B-RAIL and A-Frame systems, and free-standing horizontal rail systems. Each engineered solution starts with a site consultation and runs through design, fabrication, installation and operator training in-house.
Material handling & lifting equipment
BTS distributes and manufactures lifting equipment including davit arms, chain blocks, lever blocks, Thern winches, Liftket electric chain hoists (rated to 25 tonnes), elebia automatic crane hooks, and Slingtech lifting slings. All lifting equipment is tested in BTS's NATA-accredited laboratory before it reaches site.

BTS's Testing & Research Laboratory (TRL) is accredited by NATA, the body that accredits Australian testing facilities to international standards, for testing lifting and height safety equipment against Australian, European and military standards. The lab runs vertical and horizontal load testing machines (including a 270 tonne computer-operated horizontal testing machine), drop test towers, salt spray corrosion testing, and non-destructive testing equipment such as magnetic particle and radiographic testing machines.
Engineered solutions, not just off the shelf
Where standard products don't fit a site, BTS's in house design, engineering and fabrication team builds a custom solution, from site consultation through design, manufacturing, installation and training. Recent custom projects include ISO container static line systems, escalator line restraint systems, and shipping container anchor posts.

BTS is an authorised IKAR service agent across NSW, QLD, VIC, WA and New Zealand, providing inspection, service and recertification of IKAR rescue and recovery winches and controlled descent devices.
